Please accept my belated and heartfelt condolences. I just learned of John’s death. As a member of the MFO golf group, I have known John since the mid 1990s. He was a great golfer and even a better person.  I cherish the memories of our annual golf pilgrimages to the Gulf Coast and remember fondly him showing me and a handful of our mutual friends through his new home, which was then under construction. It was always a joy seeing him on the few occasions when I had the pleasure of playing a round of golf at Burning Tree Country Club. Again, I convey my sincere condolences to all of John’s loved ones.

Vicky, I was so sorry to hear about John’s passing. You and your family are in my prayers. John hired me when I was only 20 years old. I was just talking about him a few weeks ago. He was my favorite boss. He was always so kind and encouraging. While working at Philips during my second pregnancy John brought in a sofa so I could rest when I needed to. How thoughtful!!!  We were like a family at Philips, and I attribute that to his strong leadership.  My prayers are with you.
