John Thomas Clark born May 30, 1948. Born & raised in Albertville, AL. At 17 years old he joined the Navy and served 4 years. That included 3 tours in Vietnam in 1969 he left the Navy with an honorable discharge.
He met his wife Margaret H. Clark and was married for 50 years. They had 4 children together, Greg Marshall (wife Cindy), Ricky Marshall (wife Karen), Stacey Clark Brackon (husband Randy) and Lynn Ingram. They had 7 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his parents J.T. and Gladys Clark, Mary Carol, Sue Tobor, Martha Richardson, and Barbara Vandergriff. Surviving sisters Claretta Osborn, Brenda Joyce & Kathy Clayton.
John was a true Patriot and loyal to his country. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was a true friend and loved by many.
Dad will live on forever through his family, he will never be forgotten, and we are his legacy. We love & miss you dearly but one day we will see you again.
A Celebration of His Life will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 18 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
