Jimmy E. Partain

Funeral for Jimmy E. Partain, 79, of Cullman will be Saturday, September 3, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mr. Partain, who died Wednesday, August 31, 2011, at Collinsville Health and Rehab, was born June 27, 1932, in Huntsville to George W. and Zora Bea Partain. He was a member of the Baptist faith, the Goldwing Riders Association and the Holiday Rambler Association. He was a devoted and loving husband and a supportive father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Delores M. Partain; one son, Rodney C. Partain (Theresa) of Clayton, N.C.; three daughters, Sandra Partain Schiesz (Bill) of Chattanooga, Tenn., Karen S. Roberts (Larry) of Danville and Kimberly R. Dodson (Richard Rosenthal) of Birmingham; one brother, Robert J. Partain (Mary Gayle) of Cullman; four grandchildren, Alison D. Hyde of Chattanooga, Tenn., Katrina Roberts and Tonya Roberts, both of Athens, and Kristy Roberts of Danville and two great-grandchildren.
