Funeral for Frances Earle Flesher Pollock, 90, of Decatur will be Wednesday, June 9, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sandra Locke-Godbey officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Pollock, who died Wednesday, June 2, 2010, in Prattville, was born April 18, 1920, in Edmond, Okla., to Earl and Bess Flesher. She graduated from Oklahoma State University. She was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. Frances enjoyed bridge and golf and was an active swimmer with the early morning Grunt and Groan. She was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Pollock; two sisters and one brother.
Survivors include two sons, David Pollock (Tina) of Chesterfield, Mo., and Cranston Pollock (Margaret) of New Lenox, Ill.; two daughters, Marilyn P. Mooneyham (John) of Decatur and Carol P. Sutton (Mike) of Millbrook; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Will Stowe, Cranston Pollock, Joshua Sutton, Mathew Pollock, Mike Sutton and John Mooneyham.
