Eloise Holbert Long

Funeral services for Eloise H. Long, 77, of Hartselle, will be Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 4:00 pm at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Hal Daigre officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 until 4:00 prior to service.

Mrs. Long died Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Decatur Morgan Main Hospital.

Mrs. Long was born October 27, 1937 in Alabama to Earnest and Fannie Estelle Holbert. She retired from the U.S. Post Office and was a member of the First Independent Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son: Lyle Long, brothers: Earnest Holbert, Jr., Sidney Holbert, and William Holbert, sisters: Ellen Jones and Ruth Barnett.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years: H.C. Long, sons: Lance (Donna) Long, Lyn (Carrie) Long, brothers: Redding Holbert, and Arthur “Buck” Holbert, sisters: Pearl Carpenter, Louise Heaps, and Fannie Kirby, grandsons: Cody Long, Brandon Long, Riley Long and Evan Long.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.
