Mrs. Dorothy Taylor Sellers, 92, widow of William H. Sellers Jr., formerly of Birmingham, died Tuesday, July 2, 2012, at Decatur General Hospital.
Graveside services for Mrs. Sellers will be conducted Saturday, July 7, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham with her son-in-law, Reverend Dr. Dennis Day officiating. Roselawn Funeral Home in Decatur is in charge of the arrangements.
The Winfield native was the daughter of the late Willis E. and Jeanie McDonald Taylor. She served in the occupation of an RN in the Birmingham area for approximately 35 years and was also a member of the Shades Mountain Baptist Church.
She is survived by four daughters, Kay Cox of Decatur, Margaret Sellers of Richmond, Va., Marjorie Day of Fairhope and Cathy Sellers of Apple Valley, Calif.; sister, Bernice Smith of Chattanooga, Tenn.; two grandchildren, Amanda Ingram and Matthew Cox; eight great-grand- children and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded by a son, William H. Sellers, III.
