Delia Jackson, 101, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, May 18, 2012. She was a member of the Beltline Church of Christ, where she served as Sunday school teacher for 38 years. We rejoice in the knowledge that she is forever at home with the Savior she faithfully served all of her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Clifford Jackson; along with two infant daughters, her parents, four brothers and two sisters. She is survived by several nieces and nephews, several great- nieces and nephews, along with a host of friends who "adopted" her as their family.
A celebration of her life will be today, May 20, 2012, at 3 p.m. at Beltline Church of Christ, with Dr. Steve Chandler, Elder, and Rick Eichelberger, Outreach Minister, officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the church building. Burial will be in Pettusville Cemetery in Pettusville. Pallbearers will be Bernie Ash, Bobby Bates, Mack Buchanan, Fred Stipe, Larry Thornton and Harold Wright. Honorary pallbearers will be the Elders of the Beltline Church of Christ.
