Bob spent a lifetime loving the Lord, his family, and his friends. He proudly served in the Army from 1954 to 1956. He ran a construction/heavy equipment business for more than 40 years. His love for tractors was well known. He enjoyed working with them and participating in tractor shows. His favorite stories were about growing up on a small farm during the depression, meeting and falling in love with his wife, antics of his children and grandchildren, military experiences, lifetime friends, and, of course, stories about how smart his dog, Gracie, is.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Decatur Morgan Hospital Foundation and/or Hospice of the Valley (HOTV).
His family expresses our sincere gratitude to the HOTV team for their exemplary compassion and attention to his, and our, every need. Thank you also to Dr. Scott Matthews who has provided such kind and wonderful care to him for many years.
