Bobby Fred Smith Sr., 77, of Moulton, passed away on April 10, 2018. Bobby was born on November 11, 1940 to parents, Earl Smith and Nancy Boulden Smith. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Bobby will be missed by all who knew him. He was an avid Alabama fan. Roll Tide Roll!
Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Edna Diane Smith; one son, Troy Steven Smith and his wife Marie “Rooster” Smith; grandchildren, Troy Allen Smith (Kelly), Heather Smith, Tiffany Nicole Smith, Jessica Riddle Smith (Roy), Cody Copper (TayTay), and Kelsey Cooper (Tyler); 15 grandchildren; one sister, Pauline Fortenberry.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Bobby “Toe” Fred Smith Jr. (Becky Willard); daughter, Christy LeeAnn Smith-Cooper (Tommy); granddaughter, Harley Lee Smith; 2 other great-grandchildren; 4 brothers, and 2 sisters.
Pallbearers will be Frankie Fortenberry, Jackie Fortenberry, Joe Lindley, Shane Smith, Randell Lindley, and Wayne Lindley.
Honorary pallbearers will be Troy Smith and Cody Cooper.
A Celebration of Life for Bobby will be on Friday, April 13, 2018, at 2:00 pm at Roselawn Funeral Home. A visitation service will be on Thursday, April 12, 2018, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
