Funeral services for Mrs. Waldene Baty will be held Wednesday, April 5th at 1:00 pm. at Stephens Funeral Home of DeKalb. Rev. Keith Williams and Rev. Don Gentry will be officiating. Burial will follow in Cedarlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Baty, 91, of Scooba, passed away Saturday at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
She was a retired factory employee who enjoyed working, sewing and crocheting. The annual family BBQ at her home provided many memories for her family. She was a member of Scooba Methodist Church.
Mrs. Baty is survived by her sisters Margie Gentry and Helen Davis along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jesse Baty.
Pallbearers will be Roy Gentry, Rex Gentry, Aaron Davis, Bubba Chaney, John Harwell, Shane Baty and James Sciple.
Visitation is Wednesday 11am til service time at the funeral home..
