Woodrow Wilson Wall

Wall, Woodrow, age 99, of Kettering, OH. , went home to be with the Lord , Oct. 14, 2015 . He was born on May 25, 1916 in Big Rock, TN. to the late Jim and Annie Wall. Woodrow was preceded in death by his loving wife of 67 years, Geneva, and their son, Dannie. Also preceded in death were brothers, Graham, Allen, Frank, J.C., Billy, Perry and sister Mae Stagner.

Woodrow is survived by his children, Ronald (Patricia) Wall of Gladwyne, PA, and Joyce (John) Hutchison of Springboro, OH., five grandchildren: Christopher(Kylie) Wall of HI, Kelly Wall of Dublin, PA., Elise (Kevin) Attridge of Washington, D.C., Aimee Gelinas of New York, N.Y. and Jennifer Hutchison of Springboro, OH. Also surviving are brothers Eddie and Morris and sisters Flora Perry and Mary Devers of Clarksville, TN. as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Woodrow was a proud veteran of WWII and retired from NCR after 28 years. He was a charter member and deacon of First Baptist Church of Kettering. Woodrow was a loving husband and Dad and will be missed.

Family will receive friends Monday Oct. 19, from 9:30-11 am, with funeral services to follow at First Baptist Church of Kettering, 3939 Swigart Road. Pastor Chad Keck officiating. Interment at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Kettering , VA Hospice of Dayton (VA Hospice Fund, VA Medical Center, 4100 West Third Street, Dayton, Ohio 45428). The family would like to thank the caregivers at Brighton Gardens, Kingston of Miamisburg, and VA Hospice of Dayton for the loving care extended to their father.
