POTTS, William S., age 91 of Beavercreek, formerly of Riverside, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents Stanley and Helen Potts. He is survived by his wife of 66 years Jane Potts, children Larry (JoAnn) Potts, Jerilyn (Howard) Bates, Thomas Potts, Donald (Susan) Potts, Joyce (Steve) Dunham, grandchildren Melissa (Matt) Lecklider, Diana Potts, Justin (Lauren) Bates, Kristin (Adam) Coons, Lorin Bates, Cameron Potts, Garrett Potts, Jennifer Dunham, Kelly Dunham, Ashley Dunham, and great-grandchildren Madelyn Lecklider, Mason Lecklider, Dillon Potts, Ava Bates, and Sloane Coons. William was a long-time Lay Eucharistic Minister at St Helen Catholic Church and enjoyed being active in the parish. Following retirement he enjoyed playing tennis at the Five Seasons, camping, gardening, many good times with friends and lots of family activities. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at St. Helen Catholic Church, 5080 Burkhart Rd., Riverside. Celebrant Fr. Vincent Chembakassery. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd at Grange Hall Rd. on Monday, September 19 from 5 pm – 8 pm.
