William E. Mangold

MANGOLD, William “Bill” E., age 77, of Huber Heights, Ohio, passed away on Monday, December 17, 2012. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Berdena Mangold; Children: Julie (Dave) Rapp, Stephen, Jodie Mangold-Parker, Cynthia (Jered) Klingle and Jamie (Tammy); Siblings: Robert Mangold of Oak Harbor, WA and Carole Wolf of West Palm Beach FL; 14 Grandchildren: Dustin (Kristin), Aarik (Anne), Timothy, Aramis, Justin, Leah, Brandon, Stephen, Chelsey, Savannah, J.J., Tesla, Noah, and Ainsley; 7 Great-Grandchildren: Abby, Rob, Ellie, Jordan, Wren, Jude, and Eli. He was a member of the 1953 graduating class of Gettysburg High School in Darke County Ohio. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Bill was also the former Dean of Students at Dayton Bible College and board member of the Christ’s Church. He retired from ABF Freight Systems and a member of Teamsters Local 957. The family would like to give a special thanks to all the nurses at DaVita, Gem City Home Care, and the VA Center. A visitation will be held at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME- Belmont Chapel, 648 Watervliet at Fauver, on Thursday, December 20, 2012 from 6 pm to 8 pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, December 21, 2012, at 11 am with Pastor Larry Boley officiating. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery.
