Smith, Wayne, age 61 of Dayton, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. He is preceded in death by his mother Marcia Hardesty Trakas and brother Craig Smith. Wayne is survived by his son Adam (Holly) Smith, grandson Wyatt Smith, brother Howard (Lori) Smith, sister Debbie Lowry, aunt Carolyn Hardesty, and other relatives and friends. Wayne was a 1981 graduate of Beavercreek High School. He was a member of Mt. Zion Church of Xenia. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at the Tobias Funeral Home – Beavercreek Chapel with Pastor Vance Weeks officiating. Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 am – 11 am.
