Walter Everett Warner Jr age 58 of Centerville, Ohio was a loving husband, father, brother and son. He passed away on August 23rd, 2024, after a battle with Leukemia. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Marlene and Walter E Warner Sr.
Walter is survived by his wife of 34 years, Daphne, Daughter Ashley Warner and fiancé Chris Wilson, Three sons Blake Warner, Michael Warner, Bryce Warner and granddaughter Sophia Warner. Also survived by his siblings Craig Warner (Cheryl), Diana Hardy (Kevin) and Doris Warner. In-laws Gabrielle Collins (Donald), Nicole Bernal, Heather Posey, Rachel Melendez, and Dawn Bisgaard (Nevin). Niece and Nephews Tiffany Hardy, Jessica Hayes (Joseph) Cortney Turner (Denorris), Tyler Warner, and Bridget Warner.
Walter was a devoted father, he enjoyed attending his children’s sports and events. It brought him the most joy to see his kids excelling. His children were the embodiment of his greatest joy and pride. Walter worked as a carpenter/cabinetmaker as he possessed a strong eye for detail. He was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Cavaliers. He belonged to the Legion of Demon Racing Club, and he loved to race cars. He loved to work outside in his yard and spend time with his family and friends. He had a love for music especially Jazz. Walter was known for his infectious laugh. Occasionally, laughing hard enough to pass out.
Visitation will be at 10:00am on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at the Tobias Funeral Home, 5471 Far Hills Ave Dayton, Oh 45429. Funeral services, officiated by Reverend Tony Miltenberger, will be held immediately after the visitation at 12:00pm. To honor Walter, the family requests that funeral attendees wear his favorite color, red. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
