Virginia L. Riegel

Riegel, Virginia L., age 80, of Dayton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at Hospice of Dayton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth G. Riegel, her son, Timothy G. Riegel, her daughter, Esther Riegel, her parents, 5 sisters and 7 brothers. Virginia is survived by 3 sons and daughters-in-law, David and Pearl, Mark and Nancy, John and Caroline; 2 daughters, Deborah Lincoln and Tina Shields; a sister, Hazel Kepp; 14 grandchildren, Nancy Shields, Brian (Jessica) Shields, Tammy Shields, Matthew (Melissa) Riegel, Phillip, Amanda, Christopher and Nicole Riegel, Christina, Erik and Michaela Wells, Jeremy, Peggy and Norrin Riegel; 10 great grandchildren, Carlos Miguel Garay, Joey, Damien and Dominic Garay, Logan, Cori and Bailey Shields, Felix Riegel, Samhil Long and Madison Riegel. Virginia was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother who will be dearly missed by all she knew. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, December 14, 2015, at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road. Interment will follow in Miami Valley Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, December 13, 2015.
