Virginia Morrison

Virginia D. (Jinny) Morrison passed away January 8, 2015, at Bethany Village in Dayton, Ohio. Virginia was born in 1919 in Columbus, Ohio, and graduated from the Columbus School for Girls in 1937. She married Fred K. Morrison in 1947. They shared a lovely home in Kettering, Ohio until his death in 1992. Jinny was devoted to her close-knit neighborhood. She had wonderful friends on Corona Ave. and in the surrounding area. Jinny loved to walk, exercise and participate in water aerobics classes where she made more friends she treasured. Virginia is preceded in death by her sisters Julia D. Randall and Rita D. Stout. Surviving is Virginia’s sister Patricia D. Skinner of Asheville, NC. Also surviving are nephews, nieces, grandnieces and grandnephews on whom she doted whenever she had the opportunity. A memorial service for Virginia will be held Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 1:00 pm, at Tobias Funeral Home – Belmont Chapel 648 Watervliet Ave., Dayton, OH. It is requested that tributes in memory of Virginia be made to Hospice of Dayton, Ohio.
