Known to the world as “Ginny” or “Bird,” she enjoyed growing bold zinnias in her flowerbeds and arranging them in small vases. She enjoyed her 11 years as a Girl Scout leader and her 17 years as a Centerville City Schools orchestra teacher. She enjoyed watching Carolina Wrens and Blue Grey Gnatcatchers dart in and out of her yellow ceramic “bird” house. She enjoyed Marco River sundown boat cruises with her husband at the wheel and a Manhattan in her hand. She enjoyed sitting on her Florida home’s lanai reading a book in the afternoon light, a Gulf breeze gently rattling the palms. She enjoyed.
