Virginia Anne Beatty

Tuesday, August 22, 2017. Anne was born in Dayton to the late David & Stella Pickrel. Preceded

in death by her loving husband Robert Jerome Beatty, beloved brothers and sisters, David (Jill)

Pickrel, Mary (Keenan) Lofton, Jim (Ruth) Pickrel, Jack (Pat) Pickrel, Ruth (Earl) Ward, Dick

(Janet) Pickrel, Betty (Bud) Stickel, Dorothy Gravett, Carol Gould and Howard Pickrel. She is

survived by her only daughter and son in law, Betsy and Paul Marchiorlatti, and three

grandchildren, Rick, Luke and Matthew Marchiorlatti, sister in law Jean Pickrel, and many

treasured nieces, nephews and friends. Anne graduated from Steele High School and worked

as a switchboard operator right after high school. She loved the game of golf and was working

at Miami Valley Golf Club when she became engaged and married her loving husband of 42

years. She loved her family and was a wonderful homemaker. She started working again, later

in her life, at Top Value Enterprises where she had many good friends. Her love for her family,

her sense of humor, and care for those she knew, were hallmarks of her life. The family will

receive friends from 10:00am - 11:00am. Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Christ United

Methodist Church, 3440 Shroyer Rd, Dayton, OH 45429. A service will immediately follow in

the sanctuary of the church at 11:00am, with graveside service to follow at David’s Cemetery,

4600 Mad River Rd, Dayton, OH 45429. !
