Thomas Pruitt Jr.

Pruitt, Thomas, Jr., age 89, of Dayton, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2015, at The Laurels of West Carrollton. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Pearlie A. Pruitt in 2008. Thomas is survived by his two sons, John (Judith) Pruitt, Ronnie (Sandra) Pruitt; a grandson, Jon Pruitt; a step grandson, Jason Bush; a step granddaughter, Telana Fairies; a brother, Roy Pruitt and two sisters, Polly Resch and Patsy Feiel. He is also survived by numerous other great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, relatives and friends. Thomas retired from GM Delco Products after 42 years of dedicated service. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road with Reverend William Loudermilk officiating. Interment will follow in Valley View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday.
