Thelma Carleen (Moody/Love) Isble, age 94, of Centerville, Ohio went to be with her Lord on Thursday, December 22, 2022. The firstborn of her family, Carleen was born on January 6,1928 in Glouster, Ohio to the late Carl Moody and Thelma (Love) Moody. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Earl R. Isble; daughter, Tanya Lee (Isble) Ross; sister, Gloria Jean (NeeNee) Cooper and brothers; Carl (Butch) Moody and William (Bill) Moody.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Randy Isble, at home in Centerville, Ohio; daughter Mikki (Isble)Dent, Kettering, Ohio; son, Michael (Joan) Isble, West Virginia, brothers: Carl (Junior) Moody, Glouster, Ohio Jack Moody and James Moody both of Dayton, Ohio; Grandchildren: Debbie Szkarupa, Janson (Sophie) Milnickel, and Kimi (John) Joyce of Ohio, Carla Isble (Steven) Bane and Amy Isble (Tim) Ferguson both of West Virginia. Along with seven great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews as well as several great-great-nieces and nephews.
Affectionately known as Granny or Gigi, Carleen was a wonderful example of showing unconditional love as she lived and loved her family. Her memory was so good that she could recite the birthdays of both sides of the family even as of recent! She had to be hard, tough, and strong to survive yet was so loving that no one would ever know. There wasn't a person on either side of the family that she couldn't tell stories about...she knew her family very well. She will be greatly missed!
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 6th (her 95th Birthday) from 11:00AM until time of Memorial Service at 1:00PM at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-Beavercreek Chapel. Interment will be at Byron Cemetery in Fairborn, Ohio
