Susan Keller

Susan Keller, age 71, of Beavercreek, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2023. She was born on July 21, 1952, to Emil and Florence Hoehler in Louisville, KY. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Anne Fairfax, niece Karen Coon, and niece Jaclyn Hoehler. Susan is survived by her daughter Lauren (Matthew) Boyd, son John (JoAnne) Oeswein; grandchildren Gavin, Sophia, Margeaux, Becca, Joseph, and Caleb; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers Glenn Hoehler, Steve Hoehler, Tom Hoehler, and Dan Hoehler, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Susan was a graduate of J. M. Atherton High School, KY. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Louisville, KY, and Ascension Church in Kettering, OH. She was the first Woman President of the SFA Booster Club and helped with yearly events like the parish picnics and fish frys. She was a member of the Ascension Women’s Guild and Dayton Catholic Women’s Club. She loved spending time with family and friends and attending events for her children and grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial is to be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, December 27 at Ascension Catholic Church, 2025 Woodman Drive, Kettering, OH. Visitation will be at the church before the Mass from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm. Interment will be held on Friday, December 29 at 12:00 pm in Resthaven Cemetery, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Kettering Health Foundation Women’s Wellness Fund or the Crossroads Hospice Charitable Foundation.
