Stella Elizabeth Cordle

CORDLE, Stella Elizabeth, age 83, a lifelong resident of Springfield, passed away peacefully Sunday April 24, 2016 at 7:15 p.m. at her residence in Miamisburg, Ohio where she had recently moved to be closer to her son and his wife. Stella was born September 13, 1932 in Springfield OH. She was the 2nd of three daughters born to the late, Carl W. and Marie C. Stevens Wheldon. A beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend, Stella brought great joy to all those she met. She loved being a mother, spending time with family and friends, going to church, and doing crafts. Stella touched many lives during her 30+ year tenure at the Springfield City Schools working in the Social Media Department. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Patricia Kame; and niece, Rebecca Kame. She is survived by her son, Chad Cordle and his wife Dawn; sister Roanna Griffith; nieces, Cheryl Linkhart and Toni Roberts; nephew, Scott Griffith; granddaughter, Danielle Cordle; and by great grandchildren, great nieces & nephews, and friends. The family will have a celebration of life service 12:30 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2016 at North Hampton Church, 110 Community Dr., North Hampton, Ohio 45349 with a gathering of family and friends from 11:30 a.m. till the time of the service.
