Shirley Marie Stachowski

STACHOWSKI, Shirley, age 82, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 13th, 2011. Shirley was born on January 9th, 1929. She is preceded in death by Hank, loving husband of 34 years, mother Margaret, sister-in-law and traveling buddy Eleanore Ball, siblings Bob, George, Eleanor, Gloria, Vernon, Ronald and Sharon. She is survived, remembered and forever loved by her children Jerry of Colorado, Christine (Jack), Gail (Ted) and Kevin (Alissa), her grandchildren Nathan (Jamie), Joshua, Teddy (Tara), Caitlin and Talia, and great-grandchild Sam Henry, sister Dolly, sister-in-law Lilas, and brother-in-law Don, and many nieces and nephews. Shirley will also be greatly missed by her longtime friends who were family. The Anderson Family, Eppy, Andy, Cindy, Sherri, Barb, & especially her “3rd” daughter, Lisa, her bowling buddies Mary, Billie and Betty and her neighbors. Shirley was a longtime member of St. Charles Borromeo Church in Kettering. She was an avid bowler, book reader and puzzle worker. She loved spending time with her family and eating out. Her family would like to thank The Hospice of Dayton for the wonderful care Mom received, especially Mel, Missy, Sabina, Tasha, Kathleen, Beth, Bob and Amy. We would also like to thank her doctors for their care of mom- Dr. Hirt, Dr. Kiefaber and Dr. Smith. Special thanks and love to Mom’s special caregiver Anna Robinson.
