PENLEY, Shane Ray age 44 passed away at his residence on November 7, 2020. He was preceded in death by his mother, Cynthia Penley; maternal grandparents Jim and Berneice Rutledge; and an aunt, Linda Brigner. Shane is survived by his husband, Mark DeFelice; father, Curtis Penley; brother, James (Christy) Penley; sister, Jessica Penley (Duane Hall); nieces, Lauren and Larissa Penley; nephews, Masen Penley and Dominic Hall, Patrick and Wyatt DeFelice.
Although way too soon for his passing, Shane lived a full and vibrant life nonetheless. He had a college background and spent time vocationally as a general manager for the Speedway Corporation. He was loved and cherished as a husband, son, brother, uncle and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him whether just in passing or as a long time relative or friend.
A Walk-Through Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2020 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM, at the Tobias Funeral Home, 3970 Dayton Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. At 10:00 AM on Monday, November 16, 2020, a Funeral Service for Shane will be held at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Valley View Memorial Gardens, 170 N. Valley Road, Xenia, Ohio 45385. All events will require the use of face masks and social distancing. Condolences may be left online for the family on the Tobias Beavercreek web site.
