Roy Owens

OWENS, Roy age 88 of Beavercreek, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2012. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Ethel Owens and brother, Paul Owens. Roy is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary H. Owens; daughter, Vicki (Thomas) Keivel; grandchildren; David (Jennifer) Keivel, Andrea (Keivel) and Matthew Durham; and great grandchildren, Aubrey Durham and Owen Keivel. Roy was a WW II Naval Veteran and a self-employed tool and die maker as well as an avid golfer. He was Salutatorian of his high school class and a longtime resident of Beavercreek as well as a member of Beaver United Church of Christ. A funeral service will be held at 10am Thursday, December 13, 2012 at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME- BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL 3970 Dayton- Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall Rd. Interment to follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 from 5-8pm.
