PERKINS, Rowland “Perk”, 87, of Kettering, Ohio died July 25, 2016 at Hospice of Dayton after a 3 week illness. He served in the US Air Force in the Korean War. Perk attended Shuster Martin School of Drama, in Cincinnati, OH where he met his wife, Margie Bohachek. They were married in 1950. He was an interior designer in Dayton and began his own company, Perkins Interiors, 58 yrs ago and started the first estate sale company in the area, Perkins Interiors & Estate Sale, LLC. He was preceded in death by Marge in July 2009. He is survived by 2 daughters, Diane Wish of Shaker Heights, OH and Gayle Wells of Kettering, OH, 5 grandchildren- Dustin Thome, Cassandra Wells, Jackson Knight, Jeffrey and David Wish; 2 step-grandchildren – Allen Wish and Robin Wish Shulman; 3 great grandchildren, Tyson, Tenley and Trey Thome and 4 step-great granddaughters. The family will receive visitors at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Avenue at Rahn Road, Dayton, Ohio 45429 on Friday August 12, 2016, from 4 to 8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial, 11 am, Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 218 K Street, Dayton, Ohio 45409.
