Robert V. Wells

Wells, Robert V., age 89, passed away Sunday May 18, 2014. Robert served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the European Theatre. He was employed at Walter M. Litsey Inc. and was a member of Ohmer Park United Methodist Church. He was born on April 5, 1925 to Victor V. and Martha Virgin Wells in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents and by a sister, Dorothy Major. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Wanda Lee Alexander Wells; a son, Robert M. (Mandi) Wells of Miamisburg, OH; daughters, Janet S. (Bill) Gregory of Waterville, Ohio, Kathryn (David) Garman of Troy, Ohio, and Teresa (Steve) Britton of Kettering; Eight grandchildren, Kris (David) Brush, William (Marci) Gregory Jr., Robert M. (Kelli) Wells II, Joshua M. (Kendra) Wells, Robert T. Gregory, Russell Garman, Jenny (Jay) Borchers, and Bret Britton; great grandchildren, Noah Brush, Connor, Megan and Caleb Gregory, Isabella , Brayden and Lillian Wells, Caleb, Aubrey, and Elijah Garman, and Addison Borchers; and by a sister, Norma Johnson of South Shore, KY. Visitation will be Thursday May 22nd from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the chapel at David’s Cemetery, 4600 Mad River Road. Funeral service will follow the visitation beginning at 2:30 p.m. Interment will be in David’s Cemetery.
