Robert Eugene Murdock Jr.

MURDOCK, Robert E. Jr, age 67 of Fairborn, OH, passed away September 11, 2014. He was a graduate of Fairview High School Class of 1966, served 4 years in the USAF, retired from the VA of Dayton, OH after 34 years of service in HVAC, and was a member of the New Carlisle American Legion Post 286 and Indian Lake Moose Lodge 1533. Robert was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Imogene (Hicks) Murdock and son Justin Murdock. He is survived by his spouse, Patricia Murdock; children, Joshua Murdock of Miamisburg, Anna (Michael) Carter of Salt Lake City, UT; brother, Jeffery (Cathy) Murdock of Pendleton, IN; nephews, Jay Murdock of Cincinnati, OH and Joe (Mindy) Murdock of Pendleton, IN; and all his loving friends. In celebration of his life, visitation will be at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Avenue at Rahn Road, Dayton, OH, on Tuesday, September 16, 2014, from 5:00 – 7:00pm with a service at 7:00pm. A burial service will be held at the Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 West Third Street, Dayton, OH on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at 10:00am.
