Robert LeRoy Grewe

Grewe, Robert LeRoy, of Beavercreek, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born March 10, 1929 in Hamilton, Ohio to Verna (Catron) and Stanley Grewe Sr. Survived by his wife Cecelia (Cel) Grewe; sons Mike and Joe; daughter Mary Carnahan; step son Joe Andzik ; grandchildren Brian and Joanna Grewe, Jesse Carnahan (Sarah), Susan Carnahan (Cory Lehman) and Shelby Andzik; great grandchild Zander D. Lehman; brothers Stanley Jr. (Evelyn), Dick (Claudine); sister Jackie Rayunnas; many other family members and friends. Bob graduated from Wilbur Wright High School, attended the Dayton Art Institute, was a meat cutter for Kroger’s for 38 years, a charter member of Ascension Church, was also a Knight of Columbus 3rd and 4th degree. Early on he was committed to serve others, he was a scout leader and Box 21 member, and Auxiliary Montgomery County Sheriff. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:30 AM Monday, November 5, 2012 at the Church of the Ascension, 2025 Woodman Dr. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
