Robert Edward Elliott

Robert Edward Elliott, age 90 of Beavercreek, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2013 at Hospice of Dayton. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Donita Elliott, as well as his parents and 3 brothers. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Mary G. Elliott. His children also survive him: son, Gary Elliott of TX and three daughters; Janet Duhon of Fairborn, Susan Elliott of TN and Nancy Elliott of AZ. Seven grandchildren also survive him: Robert, Jennifer, Christel, Melissa, Shannon, Cory and Connie, as do twelve great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Robert was employed as a customer service engineer with IBM for 47 years. He was a member of Millennium Lodge #779 F&AM, formerly Stillwater Lodge, and AASR, Valley of Dayton. Friends may call at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia rd. at Grange Hall on Friday evening, October 18 from 5-8 PM. Masonic services will be held at 7:30 PM. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 10 AM; interment will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens following the funeral. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital in Robert’s memory.
