Robert Lee Childress

Childress, Robert Lee, age 83, passed away on Tuesday November 24, 2015. Bob proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He is retired from Inland Division of General Motors after 33 years of service. He was a member of American Legion Post 165 in Miamisburg. He loved to hunt, fish, and treasured time spent with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Maggie Childress; and by a sister, Loretta Miller. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Oda Mae Childress; son, Tim Childress; daughter, Robin (Scott) Colvin; grandchildren, Brad (Lindsey) Colvin, Amy (Curtis) Sebastian, and Bronson (Kristina) Childress; great grandchildren, William Colvin, Easton and Austin Sebastian, and Holden Childress; sisters Kathleen McKamey and Mattie Cook.
