Robert Casad

CASAD, Robert Age 94 of Springfield, formerly of Xenia, passed away on May 3, 2022. He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years Elizabeth “Betty” Casad, parents Forest and Lucille Casad, sisters Charlotte Ann Lloyd and Ellen Jane Matthews, and sisters-in-law Carol Mae Austen and Jerry Post. He is survived by his nephews and niece Alan Lloyd, Carol Smith and Gary (Judy) Lloyd, great-nephew Ryan (Courtney) Lloyd, sister-in-law Judy Green, and his wife Betty’s nephews and nieces Diane Austen, Cathy (Tony) Norman, Kim (Jim) Austen, Rick (Alissa) Post, Tammy (Rick) McCrabb, Cindy (Paul) Merritt, Wendy (Matt) Orr, Wesley Green. Robert served in the United States Army. He was a member of Lodge 753 F&AM. Robert and Betty enjoyed square dancing and took part in the Masonic Camping Club. After Robert and Betty retired they spent over 35 years traveling extensively. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at Mt Zion Park Cemetery.
