Since I became aware of Rita’s passing I’ve been thinking and remembering our friendship.   We became friends when we moved in next door to you.  We used to spend mornings with Ginger  sitting on the picnic table. We would talk about nothing and everything for hours.  Rita gave me some great advice on raising Angi.  Gary & I joined the Moose Lodge and invited your family to come with us.  The entire family had a great time so they joined too.  We later joined Eagles .  The  first time we took your parents we helped 4 other people in.  They were cops and raided the place. They closed the place down.  We were so embarrassed but had many laughs after that.  I can remember the birthday parties we shared.  For awhile we played cards on Saturday nights. Those were some good times.   Later we moved and eventually lost contact.  Life goes on when you don’t see friends.  I still remember the special friendship we had and cherish those memories.   I am so happy that I saw her on my last visit to Dayton, only wish I had spent more time with her.  I enjoyed seeing Glenn  but wish I had seen Beth & Lynn.   If you ever get to Sarasota I would love to see you.  Please keep in touch via F/B or anyway .   Rita was a special lady  and friend.  She will be missed by many.  My prayers are with your family.  May you RIP dear friend.

Rita was grandma to the whole neighborhood. She will be greatly missed by all. Sending love and peace to her loved ones.

Such good memories with Rita and the McDaniel Family. Made working at Bergamo such a joy. Some parties we would stay up all night just celebrating life and having a good time, then go delivery papers in the early morning. A life long friend who always gave the best of herself. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your life. Rest in peace dear friend.

There is nothing much we can say other than that we are so sorry for your loss.  Rita and Bob were wonderful people, and Rita will be missed, as was Bob.  We wish we could be there for you, but unfortunately we are visiting an ill sister in Texas.  We give our condolences to your whole family. May God bless her soul.

I'm so very sorry to hear of Rita's passing.   What I loved most  about Rita was she'd greeted you the same. Always had a smile and such a warm welcome. She will be missed dearly. You all are in my prayers and thoughts.
