Richard Lee Stubbs

STUBBS Richard L. age 77, of Kettering, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2012, at The Hospice of Dayton. Richard was born on August 5, 1934, to Elwyn and Mildred (Githens) Stubbs. Richard was a 1953 graduate of Patterson Co-op High School. He worked at International Tool Company for 27 years and later retired from Jena Tool. He loved the out-of-doors, enjoyed golf, and was an avid gardener. Richard is survived by his wife: Nancy (Hatton) Stubbs, and daughters: Robin and husband Walt Peter; Kim and husband Tom Lammers; and Lori and husband Doug Frierson, and grandchildren: Adam and Aaron Peter, Allison and Ashley Lammers, and Zach and Caleb Frierson. Richard is also survived by a cousin, Joseph Githens. The family will receive friends at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave. at Rahn Rd. Tuesday, February 21, 2012 from 10:30 am until time of service at 12:30 pm. Pastor Donald Payne officiating. Interment, will be in David Cemetery.
