My memories of Rich live on.  To his loving spouse and children, please know that we all knew him as a kind and wonderful person.  You carry his legacy and memory into the future.  

My heart goes out to Rich's family, Kelly and his daughters.  Rich was my best friend in elementary and high school, living just up the street from his home on Canterbury Drive.  While I lost contact with him during adulthood, I never forgot his unfailing friendship, sense of humor, and joy for life.  He was kind, thoughtful, and true to his humanity.  My most vivid memories were of playing wiffleball in his backyard, with all the special rules (Rich devised and graciously enforced them when visiting players were at the house).  I know my sadness in hearing of his passing is small comfort but I want you to know about the goodness he added to the world from when he was a little boy and throughout his rich life.  You most certainly brought happiness and contentment to his life and I only wish I could provide more comfort than this entry.  Peace and happiness to you as you all move forward in this life. 

We have watched Richard grow up albeit from a distance. Every time we visited his mother Richard and other brothers would visit with us. He was so good to his Mom as were all the boys. 
We got reacquainted with Richard recently at his brother Dean’s. He was so fun loving, warm and had a great laugh. 
To his family - may all your good memories comfort you as you deal with your grief. 

My prayers are with Kelly and family during this most difficult time.  Rich was a great loving and fun guy and he will be missed.

Celebrating Rich’s great passion and caring nature as a workmate. His role was one of customer escalations, which requires empathy and a desire to make things right - which he always did!

I only knew Rich for a short time, but he seemed a kindred soul indeed, and I will never forget sharing the moment the Browns made it to the playoffs for the first time in my own memory with him. He certainly knew how to make others laugh in his own goofy way! Rest easy, Rich. You will be missed!

Rich and  I worked on the same team at HP since the late 90s. He was the best of us; very well liked and respected by everyone who knew him. Rich was a  terrific mentor to many team members and also a good friend to all.  
To his family and close friends, please know Rich set the bar high and, as a result, those of us who followed his lead have had very successful careers. Rich will never be forgotten by his teammates nor anyone else from HP who knew him.

I am so heartbroken for your loss. Every memory I have of Rich includes a huge smile and hug! He was the life of the party! He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Hugs, love and prayers to you and the girls Kel!

Today is full of so many memories
of my most precious brother-in-law and every single one of them is filled with laughter and happiness.  Rich was someone very special, always such a joy to know and there is so much pain to let him go.  We love you today, tomorrow and always and pray all the angels, your precious mom, dad and Patty will  take care of you and give you all my love.  We'll surround Kelly, your twin girls and each other with love and compassion during this most difficult time and always.  We will miss you until we meet again!!!

I cannot begin to tell you how much I will be in your debt Rich, you and another friend stepped up to the plate for me when I truly needed a good friend. You saved my husband's life. Even though you guys were nowhere near us you stopped what you were doing and came to my rescue. Rest in peace my friend we will always be there for Kelly and the girls.

I worked with Rich for all of his 20 years at HP. He was not just a co-worker but a true friend.  I accepted early retirement in 2020 and Rich was one of the people I have missed most. His character, dedication and sense of humor made him a joy to be around. I will truly miss him and pray for him and his family.
