BEYLAND, Richard O. “Dick”, 85 of Centerville, Ohio passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2012. Dick was born April 9, 1926 in Dayton, Ohio. He was a star athlete at Roosevelt High School and attended the Ohio State University. Dick received his bachelor’s degree from Miami University and was a member of the 1948 Sun Bowl Champions. He was a veteran who proudly served his country in World War II. His joy in life was his family. Dick is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Betty. He was extremely proud of his four sons and daughters-in-law; Rick(Donna), Mark(Eileen), Tom(Nancy) and Tim(Robin), his ten grandchildren and his great-granddaughter. Family to receive friends Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME –Far Hills Chapel from 10:30 AM to 12:30PM. Funeral service will be held 12:30 PM Saturday, with Pastor Greg Crabtree officiating. Entombment will follow David’s Cemetery.
