Richard J Beisel

Beisel, Richard J. (Dickie) went to be with our Lord Wednesday evening, January 18, 2012. Dickie was born September 11, 1930 in Dayton and is preceded in death by his wife Marilyn (Randy) Beisel. He worked as a union plumber (local 162) until retirement and was a veteran of the US Army. He leaves behind his daughter Betsy (Bill) Leonard, son Steven (Kimberly) Beisel, 3 grandsons Billy (Heather) Leonard, Matthew (Janelle) Leonard, and Jordan Dillon, 3 great grandsons Ryan, Jason, and Elliot, and 1 great granddaughter Erin. Dickie had quite the sense of humor and was known as a prankster to all his friends and family. He had a love of life and strong will to live as he fought cancer for over 20 years. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am Saturday, January 21, 2012 at St. Helen Church, 5080 Burkhardt Rd., with Father Dave Brinkmoeller officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church Saturday from 10am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420.
