Steelman, Raymond Edward, age 80, of Beavercreek, went Home to be with His Lord and Savior, on Tuesday, March 6, 2018, in the presence of his loving family. He was born on April 14, 1937 to Eluid "Ed" Steelman and Cleona "Toni" Gaver, who preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Suzanne Berry. Raymond is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Laura Steelman; his son, John and Sue; his daughter, Lori and husband, Don Wolf; special friend, Vaughn Eggleton; grandchildren, Katie (Chris) Soto, Donny Wolf, Emily (Bryan) Overturf, Kristi Steelman, and Katy Smith. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Ray was a long time member of the Washington Heights Baptist Church and the Vintage Iron Motorcycle Club. He was the owner of Updike Electric and the Space on Space Storage in Beavercreek. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 12, 2018, at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road. Pastor Roger Jensen will be officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Park Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday.
