HORN, Raymond E. age 85 of Riverside, passed away Friday, April 6, 2012 surrounded by family. He is survived by his wife, Judy Horn; children, Rick (Pam) Horn, Steve Horn, Kenny (Karen) Horn, David (Lori) Horn, and Linda (Dave) Dickerson; grandchildren, Chad Horn and Darcy (Ryan) Mitchell, Brandon (Amanda) and Cameron Horn, Cody, Dustin and Jessica Horn, Kurtis Neiman, William and Hannah Dickerson; and great-grandchildren, Tatum Horn and Kian Mitchell. Ray was a WWII Veteran, serving on the USS North Carolina in the United States Navy and he enjoyed a term as the President of the Battleship Association. He was a member of VFW Post 657, the Riverside Historical Society and the Riverside Seniors. He retired from the city of Dayton as the Chief Plumbing Inspector. Ray was an avid ham radio operator (WB8JJI) and was a member of the Dayton Amateur Radio Association (DARA). A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall. His family will receive friends from 10 AM until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
