MAXWELL, Ramon Lee age 81 of The Villages, Florida transitioned to heaven to join his wife Hannalore on Monday, November 11, 2019 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born on November 15, 1937 to Charles W. Maxwell and Norma (Buchanan) Maxwell who preceded him in death. He is survived by a son, Ronald (JoAnn) Maxwell; daughter, Renee Parker-Stewart; brother, David (Phyllis) Maxwell as well as one grandchild, two great-grandchildren and two nephews. In 1955 he became a proud graduate of Miamisburg High School. He proudly served our country in The United States Air Force and retired as a Personnel Superintendent from the Air Force. He was the Director of the Florida Retirees Office. He was the former President of The German-American Club of The Villages, Florida. He enjoyed traveling especially to Germany as well as some other countries in Europe. He also enjoyed playing and watching the game of golf and anything associated with The Ohio State University Buckeyes. He will be greatly missed by his family and his friends who will never forget his bright and stylish sport coats that he wore or seeing him with a cup of coffee and cookie in hand. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until Noon on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at the Tobias Funeral Home-Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road with a funeral service to follow at Noon. Burial and graveside service will follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens, 170 N. Valley Rd, Xenia, Ohio 45385. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 17, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. with a luncheon to follow at the New Covenant Methodist Church, 3470 Woodridge Dr., The Villages, Florida 32162.
