AYERS, Philip Michael, age 70, of Beavercreek, after a lengthy illness passed away Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Soin Medical Center. Phil was born in Wilmington, Ohio to the late Douglas and Barbara Ayers but was raised in Xenia, Ohio. For nearly thirty years he worked for the Greene County Highway Department as a Big Equipment Mechanic. And for twenty years Phil was an Auxiliary Police Officer for the Xenia Police Department; a position he was very proud of. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, five aunts, and a special uncle, Duane Ayers. Phil is survived by his wife and soulmate of 31 years, Candie Ayers, two children Jason and Jacqueline Ayers, two devoted sisters Claudia (Andrew) Kuntz, and LaTisha (James) Faler, four nephews, three nieces, and a host of cousins and friends. We had a lot of great years Rabbit and a lot of trials as well, you will always be my soulmate… Donations can be made to your local Humane Society or the Wounded Warriors Project in Phil’s memory.
