Peggy L. Miller

Peggy began the next phase of her life journey

on May 25, 2015. She was warmly greeted by

her parents Martha Jane and Robert L Whited.

Born in Piqua, OH, she leaves to cherish her

memory her husband, Robert Clair Miller, and

children Beth (Jim) Hudson and Jeni (Clay) Bates

of Dayton, OH; D. Steven (Jeanne) White of New

Bedford, MA and stepdaughter Jody (Ben)Griggs

of Pickerington, OH; brothers, Robert Bruce

Whited (Rose) of Piqua, OH; Brent A. Whited

of Richmond, IN; grandchildren, William (Nicki)

Horvath and Zachary (Nicole) Horvath of Lima, OH;

Reilly (Nicole) White of Albuquerque, N.M.; Cody,

Andrew and Kyra White of New Bedford, MA; and

great-grandchildren Brady and Gemma Horvath

of Lima, OH; James White of Albuquerque, N.M.;

and nieces, Julie Whited Heckman, Joyce Whited,

Mary Whited and nephews Brent Robert Whited,

Bryan Whited, Brad Whited and Rob Whited.

A graduate ofPiqua High School, she retired from

Sinclair Community College,“Project Read” and

was a former staff member of Gem Sportswear,

Russells Point, OH.

Peggy had a great love of family and cherished time spent

with them. Family always came first. Her passion for

sharing recipes with family and friends resulted in

“Recipes With Love,” a book she authored in 2007.

Her gardening skills lead to a “Beautification Award”

from the City of Oakwood. She enjoyed sports of

all kinds, especially the Cincinnati Reds and a

fondness for music of all varieties.

Internment arrangements are private and “A Celebration

of Life” will be observed by her family. Donation in

her honor may be made to Hospice of Dayton. Online
