Paul Weddell Thatcher Jr., 63, passed away August 29, 2022 following a lengthy battle with heart disease. He was born September 7 1958, cherished son of the late Paul and Sharon (Dean) Thatcher. Loving husband to Linda for 40 years. Beloved father of Curtis, Zachary, and Melissa (Brian) Neubert, adored grandfather of Rory and Phoebe.
Paul was a passionate and loyal Bengals fan since their founding in 1967. He hunted, golfed, fished, and especially enjoyed time spent with family and friends boating and waterskiing on Norris Lake. He was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast.
Paul created and built his own sheet metal fabrication business with good friend Austin Stover. Ameribest thrived, providing him with great pride and respect within the HVAC community. His reputation in his field was unapparelled.
Paul would agree however that his biggest accomplishment was being a father. He adored his children with a pride beyond compare. He was always present in their lives, and taught them to enjoy every moment life has to offer.
Paul will be greatly missed by his extended family consisting of numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins, countless friends, loyal customers, and co-workers. He is also survived by a sister Paula (Gary) Salmons.
