Paul died on July 1, 2021 at Bethany Village in Centerville Ohio. He was born in Waterloo, Iowa in 1925 and attended the University of Iowa. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He came to Dayton in 1968 to work at Mead. He is survived by his wife, Mary, his children Marnie McClain (Dennis Howard), Matthew McClain, Sara Holl (Michael), his grandchildren Andrew Holl, Elliot Howard, and Hannah Holl, his brother James McClain, and his sisters Patti Kuebler and Pamelia Kemper. Donations can be made in Paul’s memory to the Bethany Village Benevolent Fund.
