Patti I. Smith

SMITH, Patti, age 91, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2014. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald Smith; 2 sisters, Nellie Wheeler and Lucille Miller and a brother William Franklin Ireland. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Durbin and her husband Carl, and Debbie Akemon and her husband Roger; 4 grandchildren, Stacy Muncie(Tony), Scott Durbin(Amanda), Jeff Akemon (Jessica), and Kim Akemon; and 5 great-grandchildren, Hannah Muncie, Ben Durbin, Abby Martin, Anna Martin, and Owen Akemon. Patti was a Braille translator and avid bowler. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BELMONT CHAPEL, 648 Watervliet Ave at Fauver Ave, on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 10:00am. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Friday, July 18, 2014 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Burial will take on Saturday at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
