Patricia Elaine Tipton

TIPTON, P. Elaine, age 70 of Xenia, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2013. She was preceded in death by her father, Edmand F. Murphy; mother, Elizabeth Murphy-Miller, and sister, Phyllis Smith. She is survived by her loving husband, Edward Tipton; daughters, Tonya (Jeff) Foland, Pamela Hall, Jamie (David) Applegate, Kelly (Bob) Fleck; son, Scott Tipton; grandchildren, Justin Watson, Chelsea Foland, Danielle Martin, Nichole Martin, Taylor Martin, Braeden Fleck, Hailey Fleck, Layne Applegate, Kami Applegate; sister, Alberta (Larry) Anderson; special nieces, Susan Watson, Cathy Bell, and numerous special friends. Elaine retired from DP&L after 30 years of service. She volunteered at Soin Medical Center and loved to travel and shop. She was a strong wife, mom, mamaw, and friend. “Sugars” was one heck of a lady. She will be greatly missed by all she touched. The family will receive relatives and friends from 5 pm – 8 pm on Friday, December 27, 2013 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall Rd.
