Pat is a retired school bus driver of 50 years for West Carrollton schools, and she was also an OBT trainer for West Carrollton and Miamisburg schools. She loved her job as a school bus driver and many of her adoring students called her “Ms. Patsy”. Pat grew up in Greasy Creek, Kentucky, and it was her favorite place she ever lived.
Pat also enjoyed home renovations/interior design, cooking and gardening. She had quite the green thumb and grew geraniums, her favorite flower, every year. She also loved cars, especially corvettes, Cadillacs, and old pick-up trucks. Pat was known for staying on top of trends and always dressed in the latest fashion. She also loved pampering and taking care of herself and her family.
In keeping with Pat’s wishes, private services will be held, and her final resting place will be at Evergreen Cemetery in West Carrollton. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorial contributions to Dayton Children's Hospital Oncology services where her great granddaughter, Hallie Staley, received treatment. She was known for donating to children’s charities throughout her lifetime.
