Patricia Jean "Patti" Foster

Foster, Patricia Jean "Patti" Age 85 of Kettering, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at Trinity Community of Beavercreek. She was born on May 21, 1938 in Chippewa Falls, WI to the late George and Dorothy (Shultz) Schimer. Patti is preceded in death by her husband Charles Foster, daughter Kimberly Bowling, granddaughter Amanda Bowling, siblings; George Schimer, John “Jack” Schimer, Terry Schimer, and Carlyn Roberts. She is survived by her daughter Susie (Mike) Ash; sons Kris (Ann) Foster, and Scott (Stacy) Foster, along with eight grandchildren; Andrew (Amber) Bowling, Kate, Alex, and Claire Foster, Matthew and Nathan Ash, and Kellsie and Jacob (Riqui) Foster, and with two great-grandchildren; Kimberly and Christopher Bowling. She adored her grandchildren and doted on them often. Patti also cherished her very close friends Kathy Thompson, Julia Croucher, and Chris and Amy Arnette, as well as the staff at Trinity who were all very special to her. Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Monday, February 5, 2024. Interment to follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Monday, February 5. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton at www.ohioshospice.org/giv. The caring staff at Trinity Community of Beavercreek and Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton provided excellent care for Patti the last few years of her life, for which the family is immensely grateful.
