She was a member of the management team at J.C. Penny for many years.
Ocie was preceded in death by her parents, William and Velma Brown; a brother, Charles W. Brown; and be a son-in-law, Donald Shearer.
She is survived by her husband, Edward J. Stephens; daughter, Cynthia Shearer; son, Barry (Stephanie) Stephens; brother, Danny (Janet) Brown; seven grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Services are pending please check back for date and times.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ocie's memory may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
Ocie will be laid to rest in Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville, Ohio.
